Skilled Workers
If you are holding onto a Skilled Worker NFT(s) it's time to get them into the gameplay.
This section will cover how to get your Skilled Workers assignments when you are the building owner or if you are looking to find your Skilled Worker a job.
The first time a user adds a "Skilled Worker" into the game it will be transferred to the NOVO wallet. We will keep the "Skilled Worker" NFT in the game until someone takes a specific action to "Unstake" it from the game. At this time the "Skilled Worker" NFT will be transferred from the NOVO wallet back to the user’s wallet.
Adding Skilled Workers to your own Building.
This section covers adding your own team of Skilled Workers to your building. Click on one of the buildings you own.
You will need to have established the "Wage Contract" to use your own Skilled Workers. Review the Buildings Management section which will cover setting up wages.
Once the Wage Contract is set the "Skilled Worker Modal" will appear. Here you will see the Level of the building as well as what shift it is that you are adding. In this example, we are adding the first Skilled Worker (1 /3) with the wage being 1 Obsidian (OBS) for a 12-hour shift.
Click on "Add Worker" and sign the contract and your Skilled Worker will start their shift. Level 1 Skilled Workers produce the following resources per shift.
200 Energy Resources in Energy Mines.
200 Building Resources in Materials Buildings.
200 Food Resources in Food Facilities.
Adding Skilled Workers to Other Players Buildings
If you own Skilled Workers and need to find them jobs you can do that from the Jobs Board. Click here to see the Jobs Board walkthrough.
You can also add the Jobs filter to the main District Map and you can learn more about that filter by reviewing the Skilled Worker management section below.
Skilled Worker ManagementStaked vs Unstaked Skilled Workers in the Game
Players will always have visibility to their Skilled Worker NFTs inside of the Novopangea game play. When a Skilled Worker is assigned to a building for the first time a safe icon will appear at the top of the card. This indicates to the player that this game is now Staked to the Novopangea game. This means that the NFT is not active in your own custodial or non custodial Wax Wallet.
When a card does not have a lock icon like the image above on the right. It means that either the card is not staked to the game yet or it has been unstaked from the game.
After you stake your "Skilled Worker" for the initial time, we will keep it in the game and not transfer it back to you until you specifically request to "Unstake" the "Skilled Worker". This will help improve the CPU usage.
To unstake a Skilled worker completely from the game click below to see the instructions.
